Meet the blogger London

This weekend I attended the Meet the Blogger conference in London. Ok, so I would not technically call myself a ‘blogger’ yet, but I was keen to go and meet other home, design and lifestyle bloggers, as well as attending lessons and listening to well established bloggers and their stories.

On Saturday we went to the fancy ME Hotel off the Strand, where the program for the day was carefully put together by the organisers. It was an exciting day where we learned a lot and I made some great connections with some truly inspiring people. One of my highlights was my lesson with the talented photographer Paul Craig, where I actually learned how to go beyond my automatic settings on my camera. Photography is really something I whish I knew more about, so this lesson was really valuable to me and put me in the right direction. It was also interesting to hear well established bloggers like Yvonne Eijkenduijn of Yves Town and Will Taylor of Bright Bazaar talk about their experiences in the blogging world and they were also sharing their tips on how to make inspiring posts.
Then on Sunday there was a City Design tour organised by the lovely Tina Bernstein, of Colourliving Blog, which took us to Portobello where we snooped in several interior shops. My highlights of the tour was Tom Dixon at Portobello Dock, a curiosity shop called Les Couilles Du Chien, a lovely little ceramic shop called Ceramica Blue and the always wonderful Pedlars. Again it was such an inspiring day and I am so glad I went, even though I am not a 'proper' blogger yet :)
Till next time, take care.
